Along the road we came across "Father Woods Park". These are wooden sculptures made by a chainsaw. There are a few more but this is just a taste.  They were lovely to see. This was before Penola. Chardonnay Lodge is a big place to stay for a night. Bushmanns Inn has butcher shop, coffee, wine, old house, newsagent, van park and IGA. Penola has a Racing Club which has functions over the Easter weekend.  Tree planting is carried out by the roadside.  Forest trees were nice to see.  Rest area opposite.
